BOSTON to NYC, NEW JERSEY to MIAMI this Southern Belle has been gracing stages and film sets on all spectrums. I am proud to say that I have been honored to have learned and danced original iconic works choreographed by the greats such as Bob Fosse, Gower Champion and Agnes DeMille. I started in this crazy industry called show business by dancing professionally with a small ballet company called Brevard Ballet Theater. I then went on to achieve a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Theater and Communications from Palm Beach Atlantic University. Favorite regional theater shows/roles include… Chicago (Annie the Merry Murderess), White Christmas (Rhoda), 42nd Street (Diane Lorrimer), Mame (Gloria Upson) starring Leslie Uggams, which gained me recognition that led to offers from prestigious theaters such as The Maltz Jupiter Theater, Actors Playhouse, Palm Beach Dramaworks, and Fiddlehead Theater.
“Whether as her teacher or her director, the word that always comes to mind when I think of Lauren Bell is "fierce". Fierce in her focus. Fierce in her work ethic. Fierce in her dedication. And maybe just as important, she makes me laugh”.
DON BUTLER: ARTISTIC DIRECTOR, STORYMAKERS THEATER COMPANY & PROFESSOR EMERITUS, PALM BEACH ATLANTIC UNIVERSITY .
In addition to my stage career, I have experience in film, television and voice over work. Iron Man 3, Graceland and Magic City gave me the opportunity to expand my acting skills from the stage to the screen. You can also find me in episodes 5-6-7-8 in the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel as Annie the Hotel Manger on Amazon Prime. In addition, Voice Over work gave me the chance to let my comedic screams and vocal inflections ring through the English Dubbed version of Telenovelas and many Foreign Films.
